Mentees can attend sports camps free
TeamMates and Abbott Sports Complex announce the opportunity for mentees to attend Abbott week-long sports camps at no cost. The camps are available for mentees who will be in elementary school to 8th grade in the fall. For youth who are not part of the TeamMates program, registration is around $100.
This is a wonderful opportunity for students and parents, as campers attend camp at Abbott Sports Complex, Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 4 p.m. or pick up as late as 5:30. Nine separate week-long sessions are available, beginning June 8 and ending the week of Aug. 3. Students may register for any or all weeks of the camps.
The goal of the summer camp is to guide and teach every camper according to their ability while making the activities fun and rewarding. Adding to the fun and uniqueness, camp coaches are current University of Nebraska athletes.
