January is National Mentoring Month - the perfect time to reflect on mentoring and to give as well as receive thanks for making a difference. You may want to consider attending the Recognition Dinner with your mentee or consider attending the Recognition Luncheon which is a signature fundraiser for the Lincoln TeamMates program. Both the dinner and luncheon feature a keynote speaker and the recognition of community partners and special mentor/mentee matches.
This Lincoln TeamMates signature event is typically held at Lincoln Station in the Historic Haymarket on the last Thursday in January.
(Please note: Registration and paperwork are needed to attend the dinner.)
Mentors, mentees and school staff are invited to attend the appreciation dinner which is hosted by the Lincoln TeamMates program.
The event provides a fantastic opportunity for TeamMates to meet each other and to celebrate together. Outstanding students and mentors will receive special recognition.
The Recognition Luncheon is attended primarily by businesses, who purchase at a per plate or sponsorship level to raise funds for the TeamMates program.
Outstanding partners are recognized at that time, including presentation of the Tony & Carmen Messineo Community Involvement Award. The luncheon also includes a silent auction with several autographed items.
